Sell or Trade Your Collectibles
At All Star Sports Cards, the world of collectible cards meets incredible opportunities as we buy and trade for fantastic cards and memorabilia.
Vintage Cards Pre-1979
We will look at single sports cards, sets, collections, sealed boxes, and graded vintage cards prior to 1979. This includes baseball, basketball, football and hockey cards. The best condition cards in near–mint to mint condition are preferred, but we will consider lower grade cards on Superstar Hall–of–Famers with collector appeal and high market demand.
Modern Cards: 2010’s through the 2020’s
We will consider only mint condition modern cards from major manufacturers such as Topps, Bowman, Panini, and Upper Deck, etc. No Press Pass, Sage, Leaf, Wild Card, or college cards with athletes in college uniforms. Superstar athletes and Hall–of–Famers with collector appeal and high market demand considered. Athletes that have little–to–no collector or market demand, have ruined their market appeal through poor or declining performance, bad decisions, and/or trouble with the law, will not be considered.
Autograph, Memorabilia, and Rookie Cards
We will consider only mint condition autographed cards, certified and guaranteed by the manufacturer, game used/worn memorabilia cards, Rookie Patch Autograph (RPA’s), and rookie cards. Superstar athletes, rookies, and Hall–of–Famers with collector appeal and high market demand considered. Athletes that have little to no collector or market demand, have ruined their market appeal through poor or declining performance, bad decisions, and/or trouble with the law, will not be considered.
Graded Cards
Graded cards with near-mint, mint, and gem mint grades 8 – 10 from PSA, Beckett or SGC will be considered. Graded cards from companies other than PSA, Beckett or SGC will be considered at raw, ungraded values.
Original Factory Sealed Boxes
We will consider any original factory sealed unopened hobby boxes or wax boxes from any year. Retail blaster/mega boxes, mystery blaster boxes, or sealed items that can be purchased from Walmart, Target, etc. will not be considered.
Autographed Memorabilia
Only autographed memorabilia Certified through PSA, PSA/DNA, JSA, or Beckett will be considered.
Bulk Common Cards
At times we do purchase, by the pound, bulk common cards from all four major sports.
Vintage Pokémon Cards
We will consider any vintage Holographic or 1st edition Pokémon cards in mint or lightly played condition. Graded vintage Pokémon cards from CCG or PSA will be considered at graded values. Cards from other grading companies will be considered at raw ungraded values.
Modern Pokémon Cards
We will consider modern Pokémon cards in mint unplayed condition at V level and above. V, V-Max, V-Star, alternate art, illustration rare, secret rare, rainbow rare, etc. Graded modern Pokémon cards in near–mint, mint, and gem–mint grades from CCG or PSA will be considered at graded values. Cards from other grading companies will be considered at raw ungraded values.
What We Don’t Buy
We don’t buy any low–grade or damaged modern cards, or cards that don’t have any significant value or market interest in the hobby. Athletes that have little to no collector or market demand, have ruined their market appeal through poor or declining performance, bad decisions, and/or trouble with the law, will not be considered.
Cards that you may have a hard time selling, we would most likely not be interested in purchasing those cards from you. We would not consider collections that have been "cherry–picked" and you’re just looking to sell the leftovers.
We don’t buy any Junk Wax cards. This includes baseball, basketball, football and hockey from 1980 through 1996. The only exception to Junk Wax cards would be the highest-grade cards of key rookies that are graded gem–mint 10 by either PSA, Beckett, or SGC.
We don’t buy individual packs, searched packs, unsealed or half–open boxes of modern cards. We also do not purchase sports–related toys, games, or books.
Things to Consider
We cannot purchase items at market–value as we need to price at market–value in order to make a profit and leave room for negotiating with potential buyers. We determine value using multiple comparisons (comp’s) to establish an average market value for the item. We don’t rely on “last comp” to determine value due to seller scams and potential shill bidding on auction sites. Additionally, due to excessive shipping fees on some sales to increase seller profit, excessive shipping fees will be subtracted from the determined value of the item.
